Submitted by Hockeyinformer.com on November 28, 2007 - 11:55pm.Havlat returned in style from a knee injury, notching two goals in a win over the Lightning. The oft-injured winger is a dynamic offensive player when healthy but as his owners likely all know - staying healthy is the big issue. If you own him, enjoy the ride for as long as it lasts but certainly consider trading him if he continues to produce as his value could plummet once he tweaks another body part.

Submitted by Hockeyinformer.com on November 28, 2007 - 1:16am.Havlat is set to finally return to the Blackhawks' lineup Wednesday against the Lightning, reports the Chicago Tribune. He has missed the last 22 games with a shoulder injury but is set to return on a line with Robert Lang and Jason Williams. Activate him immediately and cross your fingers that he can last another month without landing on injured reserve again.

Submitted by Hockeyinformer.com on November 9, 2007 - 1:22am.Havlat participated in a full practice for the first time since injury his shoulder earlier in the season, reports the Chicago Tribune. He's basically just working on building strength in the shoulder but looks poised to return within the next 1-2 weeks. Coach Denis Savard has already committed to playing Havlat on a line with Robert Lang and Jason Williams. Havlat will probably get hurt again sometime during the season, but fantasy owners would be wise to play him while he's active and probably even try to trade him if you can get good value in return.

If Havlat has no setbacks, he might return in mid-November as coach Denis Savard estimates it would take him about two weeks to get back into shape.

Submitted by Hockeyinformer on October 17, 2007 - 12:09am.The Hawks will decide Wednesday whether Havlat will have surgery to repair his injured shoulder or if he will attempt rehabilitation with the hopes of returning in as soon as a month, reports the Chicago Tribune. We're not sure it really even matters at this point to fantasy owners as most people have either planned to be without Havlat for a long time or cut bait on him completely.

Submitted by Hockeyinformer on October 6, 2007 - 1:49am.Havlat separated his shoulder during the team's opening 1-0 loss to the Wild, reports the Chicago Tribune. It will be at least two weeks before the team even decides on a course of action in terms of rehab but they don't believe that surgery will be necessary. Those of you who own Havlat or have owned him in the past in any sort of fantasy league know the drill: he's immensely talented and could challenge 100 points over a full season, but injuries have been a major part of his career and it's unlikely that will ever change. Go ahead and stick him on your team's IR spot and hope that he comes back by early November.
