Bertuzzi, Todd

The Ducks are anticipating the return of forward Todd Bertuzzi, who appears to be nearly recovered from the symptoms related to the concussion he suffered October 14 against the Wild, reports the LA Times. He has been cleared for full contact and was a participant at Ducks practice yesterday and should accompany the team to Dallas. While Bertuzzi is a shadow of his former self, he can still be a serviceable forward in fantasy leagues once he is completely healthy.

Bertuzzi is questionable for tonight's home opener against the Bruins because of a strained groin suffered in last week's loss to Columbus, reports the LA Times. He said the groin continued to bother him during Saturday's game against the Penguins which is probably why he received only 14 minutes of ice time. The veteran power forward has only two points in five games this season and is looking more and more like a shadow of his former self.
