Martin Havlat

Havlat separated his shoulder during the team's opening 1-0 loss to the Wild, reports the Chicago Tribune. It will be at least two weeks before the team even decides on a course of action in terms of rehab but they don't believe that surgery will be necessary. Those of you who own Havlat or have owned him in the past in any sort of fantasy league know the drill: he's immensely talented and could challenge 100 points over a full season, but injuries have been a major part of his career and it's unlikely that will ever change. Go ahead and stick him on your team's IR spot and hope that he comes back by early November.
