In case you didn't read this elsewhere already, Mr. Long is a breakout star this season. Leading the WHL in scoring, Colin has come a "Long" way from last year's production. He has already more than doubled his scoring with 69 points this season, and he's only 18. Although passed over in the draft, this year he is sure to get noticed. In leagues where the minimum age for a prospect is 18, this guy may be someone to consider. He slipped through the cracks but shouldn't any longer.

Colin Long
Coming from a Rocket Season ticket holder that has had the chance to watch him over the past few years, his improvement has been incredible. The most amazing part is he had mono as a 16 year old and missed most of the season. So basically he is leading the WHL in scoring as a second year player in the league. Kelowna is a very good team this year with a roster made up of mainly 17 and 18 year olds, next year is supposed to the big year for them where they will have a pretty good shot at the Memorial Cup, I'm pretty sure you'll still see Long here as a 19 year old at that time.
